• create and edit documents with Microsoft Word, budget spreadsheets with Microsoft Excel, publications with Microsoft Publisher, and presentations with Microsoft Powerpoint
• access email and the internet.

Computers for Beginners

For absolute beginners, in this short introductory course you will learn how to:

• use computer equipment including printer
• understand the basics of Windows
• browse the internet
• send and receive email including attachments.

This 5-week course will give you skills to get you started with using a computer, accessing the vast amount of information on the world wide web, and keeping in touch with others online.

Complete this course and feel confident to go on to our other more advanced computer training next year (please feel welcome to contact us to put yourself on our mailing list and we'll send you information about our computer courses in 2009).
